Season Final Act
Kagome hears InuYasha telling her not to make any wishes and remembers her grandfather telling her that the one correct wish will cause the Shikon Jewel to be banished from the world forever. Inuyasha battles his way to her and after they share a loving kiss, she makes her wish: that the Shikon Jewel would vanish forever. The jewel shatters and the demons inside it disappear, as do Naraku and the priestess Midoriko.
Three years later, Miroku and Sango’s third child is about to be born, Shippo is training to become a full-fledged fox demon, and Kohaku is dedicating himself to helping those affected by demons.
In the present day eighteen-year-old Kagome, who is now about to graduate from high school, recalls how InuYasha had rescued her and how that the Bone Eater’s well had stopped working since then. Inside the shrine, she realizes that her own feelings are what was blocking the well and wishes she could see InuYasha again. The well reactivates as Kagome’s mother joins her. Kagome bids her farewell and enters the well. InuYasha quickly catches her scent and meets her, taking her by the hand. Kagome’s family continues to live as they always have – Souta tells his friends that his sister got married right after high school and moved away. Hojo is dating the underclassman who was hitting on him earlier in the series. All of Kagome’s friends are in college. In the feudal world, Sango and Miroku live with their kids – two twin girls and a boy – in Kaede’s village. Kohaku is off to train to become a strong demon slayer. Myoga now lives with Totousai. Shippo is training to become a strong demon. Rin lives with Kaede in the village where Sesshomaru is shown paying her visits, along with Jaken, bringing Rin all kinds of gifts. Koga and Ayame are married. Kagome is adapting to her new, permanent life in the feudal era as Inuyasha’s wife.

which makes everything better
it was the perfect ending i have to say… i just wish there was more.
or even a movie just to finish it off. then id can die a happy gurl… 
it doesnt make it better , how about a sex scene or a baby of big brother coming into there lives or rin growing up and marrying bigbrother

This is the right way to end an anime! Im soo sad it ended, but Ive waited years for inuyasha to come back, the ending wasnt an ending at all! Finally got my closure : D Thanks sooo much!
You never know maybe a movie or a few more eps will come showing afterwards a lil more? hehe to much to ask I guess!!

I loved it this episode was so cool and intense it took me only one week to finish the whole series. It was just so cool when they showed the kiss moment. Oh and anyways I draw anime and these episodes give me the inspiration on my anime. Thank you =^.^=

INUYASHA IS THE GOODEST SHOW ON TV. IT IS SO SAD THAT IT ENDED LIKE THIS. WE SHOULD HAVE SOMTHING TO SAY ABOUT IT. I HEARD THAT THERE MAKING A MOVIE ABOUT THE BABY AND HOW EVERYTHING IS GOING.

Just woww…seriously the best ending i’ve ever seen in my 5yrs of watching anime. This is how u end an anime series…seriously the best long series anime i’ve ever watch. Just cant believe its over. Now i’ll just have to wait for the dub version to be out around oct which is after my O lvls

i hope that it comes to DVD in the USA soon, i have seen all season and all 4 movies, wish they would come out with another season to show how there lives are with out naraku in there lives and if they have any kids and another movie would be nice also, that takes off on episode 26 of the final act
yea this was awesome! But they should make more episodes on rin and kagome becoming half demons or something or other because inuyasha and sesshomaru can’t live with them and as humans they’ll just grow old and die :S
Well. This series to me was the greatest. Im leaving for bootcamp soon and watching every episode/movie was something i wanted to do. i strt watching this when i was like what 13 now 18 i still enjoy it and glad i was able to finish it. This is my fav show of all time no doubt. and I also hope they have a movie on how everything is goin wit the gang and other. perfect ending. mayne is over but i was amazing while it lasted!!!!

Took around a week to watch the Final Act. Would like to see Kagome & InuYasha offspring too.. Never thought of Rin and Seshy like that but when she is older it makes perfect sense, maybe that is what is implied when Inuyasha said Rin has a choice to make later. A part of me would have liked it to have ended when Kagome is looking down the well saying she hasn’t seen Inuyasha in three years.. That would have been a very dramatic and heart breaking ending that it was worthy of. Although it was obvious from the start that InuYasha and Kagome were destined for each other and would live happily ever after together. Very glad I came across InuYasha. I watched all the Final Act on this site so a big thanks to the admin.
